GENERAL REFLECTION - FINAL (20.11.2025)

The Final General Reflection session was held on November 20, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the General Hall. The programme provided an opportunity for teacher trainees to share their overall experiences and learning gained during the teaching practice period.
The session began with Prathibha from Sabarigiri School, who spoke about her school experience and the lessons she learned during her practice. Ammu Lekshmi from Edamulackal School then shared her reflections, particularly focusing on how she managed students’ behavioural issues and the insights she gained from those situations. Akshaya from Karukone School also presented her experiences, highlighting memorable moments from her time at the school.
Many trainees spoke about the support they received from teachers and headmasters, as well as the emotional connection they developed with students. For several participants, the first phase of teaching practice was mainly a period of learning and adjustment, while the second phase helped them feel more confident and experience the role of a teacher more realistically. The memories created with students, including their lively nature and the challenges of managing classes, made the experience meaningful and unforgettable.
Bhavya from Puthayam and Anupama from Karavaloor School shared positive reflections on their journey. Summaya from Ayur Jawahar School, Thoufeeka from Poredom VVHSS, and Lekshmi from West GHSS spoke about their teaching experiences, recalling both enjoyable and challenging moments. Arya from Yeroor GHSS and Shinu from St. Goretti School, Punalur also shared their reflections. The session concluded with Anuroop from Vayala GHSS, who spoke about his teaching journey and received appreciation from the teachers for his improvement in teaching and classroom management skills.
Overall, the reflection session highlighted the valuable learning gained by each teacher trainee during more than 70 days of teaching practice. The programme came to an end by 12:00 p.m., leaving everyone with a sense of satisfaction, inspiration, and nostalgia.
