REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
20.10.2025 - MONDAY
PUBLIC HOLIDAY - DIWALI
21.10.2025 - TUESDAY
Today I reached the school by around 9.05 a.m. After signing the register, I went for my disciplinary duty in the school corridor. Then I returned to the teacher's staff room to attend the teacher's prayer. After the school prayer, we went back to the allotted room. During the first period I got a substitution in my concerned class.8B, where I taught the topic levels of classification of animals. Then on the third period I got substitution in 6B class where I made them play vocabulary games. During the lunch break we served midday meal to the students. The whole day sub district kalolsavam practices were going on. During the fifth period I got substitution in my concerned class 9B, where I started with the new chapter Respiration and excretion. The topic I taught was role of oxygen in respiration and burning process and its products. During the sixth period I got substitution in class 7C, where I was given duty to monitor them during the PT hour. By 4:30 PM, we signed the register and left the school campus.
22.10.2025 - WEDNESDAY
Today I reached the school by around 9.05 a.m. After signing the register, I went for my disciplinary duty in the school corridor. Then I returned to the teacher's staff room to attend the teacher's prayer. After the school prayer, we went back to the allotted room. A morning assembly was held where prizes were awarded to students who won in the Sub-District Sasthramela, Sanskrit Mela, and Sports competitions. The PTA President and the Headmistress, Suja Teacher, addressed the gathering and gave an awareness talk on the harmful effects of drugs. Following the assembly, an awareness rally was conducted, led by JRC and Scout and Guide students, with active participation from other students. Meanwhile, Little Kites students organized a camp, and practice sessions for forthcoming programmes were carried out during the day. During the third period i taught parts, features and functions of human respiratory system topic in my concerned class 9B. During the lunch break , we served the midday meal to the students. During the fifth period I got a substitution in my concerned class 8B, where I taught the topic levels of classification of plants. During the seventh period I got substitution in class 6B, where I made some read their social studies textbook. By 4:30 PM, we signed the register and left the school campus.
23.10.2025 - THURSDAY
Today I reached the school by around 9.05 a.m. After signing the register, I went for my disciplinary duty in the school corridor. Then I returned to the teacher's staff room to attend the teacher's prayer. After the school prayer, we went back to the allotted room. During the first period, I took a substitution class in my concerned class 8B, where I taught the topic Levels of Classification of Plants. In the second period, I got a substitution in class 6A, during which the students were engaged in their own work and I monitored the class.
At 10:00 a.m., students of Classes 5 and 6 organized a Food Fest, presenting traditional food items prepared at home. I was assigned food fest duty, and the efforts of the students were appreciated by teachers and fellow students. Following this, I escorted students to Karavaloor junction for a street play on drug awareness. Two street plays were performed as part of the programme, in the presence of the Headmistress, PTA President, and members of JRC and Scouts and Guides.
After returning to school, during the lunch break, we served the midday meal to the students. During the sixth period, I handled another substitution in class 8B, where I taught the topic: Five Kingdom Classification and advantages. Throughout the day, Sub-District level zone practice sessions for the Kalolsavam were conducted. By 4:30 p.m., we signed the register and left the school campus.
24.10.2025 - FRIDAY
Today I reached the school by around 9.05 a.m. After signing the register, I went for my disciplinary duty in the school corridor. Then I returned to the teacher's staff room to attend the teacher's prayer. After the school prayer, we went back to the allotted room. During the second period, I took a substitution class in my concerned class 9B, where I taught the topic: Rate of Ventilation, including its measurement and the reasons for an increase in ventilation rate. During the lunch break, we served the midday meal to the students. Throughout the day, practice sessions for the Sub-District Kalolsavam were in progress. During the fifth period, I handled my concerned class 8B. The topic taught was Levels of Classification of Animals. In the sixth period, I took a substitution class in 7C, where the students were asked to read their English textbook. In the last period, I took a substitution class in 6B and engaged the students in vocabulary games. By 4:30 p.m., we signed the register and left the school campus.
25.10.2025- SATURDAY
Today I reached the school by around 9.05 a.m. After signing the register, I went for my disciplinary duty in the school corridor. Then I returned to the teacher's staff room to attend the teacher's prayer. After the school prayer, we went back to the allotted room. On this day, many teachers were absent, resulting in several substitution periods. During the first period, I took a substitution class in 10A, where I engaged the students by conducting a Biology terminology game using their textbook. In the second period, I handled a substitution class in my concerned class 9B and taught the topic: Stages of Ventilation. During the fourth period, I got a substitution in class 5C, where the students were engaged in vocabulary games. At the same time, practice sessions for dance events were conducted in the class. During the lunch break, we served the midday meal to the students. In the fifth period, I took a substitution class in 8B and taught the topic: Kingdom Monera, with suitable examples. In the last period, I again got a substitution class in 9B, where I taught the topic: Role of Alveolus and Blood Capillaries in the Exchange of Respiratory Gases. Throughout the day, practice sessions for various events were in progress. By 4:30 p.m., we signed the register and left the school campus.
