WEEKEND REFLECTION - WEEK 7 (21.09.2025)

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, the Natural Science Department of Sabarigiri College of Education conducted its weekly reflection session through Google Meet from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This meeting marked the seventh week of the teaching practice, during which all teacher trainees shared their experiences from their respective schools.
A common issue discussed during the session was the difficulty in managing regular classes due to ongoing cultural programmes and the science fest in schools. The teacher offered helpful suggestions and important instructions to handle these challenges effectively. It was also informed that the first phase of the teaching practice would come to an end on September 29. The session concluded at 7:30 PM.

WEEKEND REFLECTION: WEEK 4 (10.08.2025)

The Natural Science Department of Sabarigiri College of Education conducted the weekly reflection for the first phase of teaching practice on Sunday, 10th August 2025. The meeting was held online via Google Meet from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. The session began with representatives from each school presenting their weekly reflections. Aparna first shared her own and my reflections from Karavaloor School, followed by Akshaya from Karukone School, who spoke positively about her week’s experiences. Then arathi presented her classroom experiences for the week. This was followed by Muhsina and Nuju from St. Goretti’s School, who discussed the challenges they faced due to recent changes in their assigned classes. Arya and Bhavana from Poredom School shared their reflections next, and Ameena from Vayala School concluded the presentations by sharing reflections for herself and Anuroop. TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 7: 15.09.2025 (MONDAY) TO 19.09.2025 (FRIDAY)                                                           REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE MONDAY - 15.09.2025 I reached the school by around 9:10 AM. After signing the register, I went for my disciplinary duties. Once the bell rang, I proceeded to the staff room for the teachers’ prayer. Following the school prayer, I returned to our assigned classroom. Today, there were no teaching or substitution hours for me since it was the school’s parents’ meeting. All the parents of the students had gathered, and the entire day was devoted to that. In the afternoon, we served the mid-day meal to the students.
