STUDY TOUR - DAY 5

Day 5 of our trip began with checking out from our hotel in Udupi at 9:00 AM. We headed straight to Malpe Beach, where the calming sea breeze and rhythmic waves set a refreshing tone for the day. After enjoying a tasty breakfast by the beach, we explored nearby shops and picked up some charming souvenirs. By mid-morning, we made our way to the beach and then boarded a boat to the beautiful St. Mary’s Island. The short ride across the sea was serene, and the island’s unique beauty made for a memorable visit filled with photos, fun, and unforgettable views. After returning to Malpe Beach around 12:45 PM, we had a delightful lunch and indulged in some more street shopping. By 2:30 PM, we began our journey back to college, with short breaks at Kasaragod for tea and Kannur for dinner. Day 4 of our field trip began with a refreshing morning in Chikmagalur. After breakfast and check-out, we headed to Belur, arriving by 10:30 AM for an exciting session of water adventure activities. With great enthusiasm, we participated in kayaking, rafting, and either banana rides or speed boat rides—each one offering thrills, laughter, and unforgettable moments. For many of us, it was our first time experiencing such adventures, and the supportive instructors ensured everything was safe and enjoyable. Post-activities, we changed into dry clothes and gathered for a delicious lunch, bonding over shared stories and the joy of trying something new. STUDY TOUR - DAY 3

Day 3 of our study tour took us to the scenic landscapes of Chikmagalur. We started the day with a hearty breakfast at Hassan Restaurant at 8:30 AM, followed by an exciting jeep trek. Our first stop was Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest point in Karnataka, which we reached by noon. The trek to the top, though challenging, was peaceful and rewarding. We visited the Mullappa Swami Temple at the summit and spent time enjoying the views and capturing memories. Continuing our journey, we paused at the serene Honnammana Halla Waterfalls tucked away in the Shola forest, where a light drizzle added to the charm. A quick stop for ziplining brought an adrenaline rush for some, while others cheered and clicked photos before we all gathered for lunch. STUDY TOUR - DAY 2

Day 2 of our trip began with our arrival in Coorg at 7:00 AM. After checking into our hotel and freshening up, we had a delightful breakfast that energized us for the day ahead. Our first visit was to the serene Harangi Dam, known for its peaceful ambiance, well-maintained gardens, and scenic beauty. We enjoyed strolling through the vibrant landscape and took plenty of pictures. Next, we visited the Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery) in Bylakuppe, a spiritual hub for Tibetan Buddhism. The ornate architecture, towering golden statues, and peaceful chants created a deeply calming and reflective experience. After a satisfying lunch of chicken biryani, we continued to the Bamboo Forest, where we explored tribal sculptures, treehouses, and enjoyed activities like boating and ziplining amidst the lush greenery and riverside calm. STUDY TOUR - DAY 1

Our much-anticipated field trip began on April 3rd, 2025. All students and teachers gathered at the college by 2:00 PM, and our tour coordinator, Mr. Arjun, made sure everything was in order before we set off at 3:00 PM. Some students joined us along the way from Punalur, Pathanapuram, and Pathanamthitta. The journey was filled with excitement, and we took a tea break at Ranni in the evening. The lively atmosphere on the bus, with music and dancing, made the trip even more enjoyable. Around 10:00 PM, we stopped at Angamaly for dinner, followed by a movie on the bus, which gradually led most of us into a restful sleep. By early morning on April 4th, we reached the scenic Wayanad Churam around 5:00 AM. The cool breeze, winding roads, and serene surroundings created a magical setting for the start of our adventure.
