STUDY TOUR - DAY 4

Day 4 of our field trip began with a refreshing morning in Chikmagalur. After breakfast and check-out, we headed to Belur, arriving by 10:30 AM for an exciting session of water adventure activities. With great enthusiasm, we participated in kayaking, rafting, and either banana rides or speed boat rides—each one offering thrills, laughter, and unforgettable moments. For many of us, it was our first time experiencing such adventures, and the supportive instructors ensured everything was safe and enjoyable. Post-activities, we changed into dry clothes and gathered for a delicious lunch, bonding over shared stories and the joy of trying something new.

In the afternoon, we visited the magnificent Chennakeshava Temple, a masterpiece of Hoysala architecture dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The intricate stone carvings, sculpted pillars, and spiritual ambiance made the visit a deeply enriching experience. Our guide offered fascinating insights into the temple's history, adding depth to our appreciation. Around 2:45 PM, we began our journey to Udupi, traveling through scenic landscapes and stopping for tea along the way. We reached our hotel by 8:00 PM, had a comforting dinner, and retired to our rooms, carrying with us memories of a day filled with adventure, culture, and camaraderie.
