NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION

National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on March 4, 2025, at Sabarigiri College of Education. The event aimed to foster a spirit of scientific inquiry and innovation among students while offering a fun and educational experience.

The celebration was anchored by Aishwarya, who kept the program lively and well-organized. The event began with an inaugural speech by the Principal, whose inspiring words highlighted the relevance of science in our daily lives. This was followed by a graceful welcome dance performed by Alaka, setting a vibrant tone for the celebration. A group dance by Jerin, Aishwarya, Pooja, Alaka, Keerthi, Devika, and Gopika further energized the audience.

Bhavyasena delivered an engaging PowerPoint presentation on major scientific advancements, sparking curiosity and discussion among participants.

The event featured several competitions that added excitement and friendly rivalry:

The rangoli competition, judged by Sreeja Miss, saw colorful creativity from all teams. Aravind explained the rules, and the Natural Science team won the first prize, presented by Prathiba Miss. The Mathematics team came second (gift by Shamla Miss), the English team secured third place (gift by Revathy Miss), and the Social Science team placed fourth (gift by Meenu Miss).

The debate competition was another highlight. Rules were introduced by Pooja, and it featured compelling arguments from both Group A and Group B, with Sreeja Miss and Jaseena Miss serving as judges. Both groups were recognized with prizes for their strong performances.

The treasure hunt brought a spirit of adventure to the event. Devika guided the participants through the fun-filled activity. Teams included:

Ameena and Muhsina (Natural Science),

Shamnad and Thoufeeka (Social Science),

Riya and Kripa (Mathematics),

Gloria and Suja (English). The English team emerged as the winners, adding to the day’s excitement.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Prathibha Miss, who expressed appreciation to all participants, organizers, and faculty members who made the event a success.

The National Science Day celebration at Sabarigiri College was a memorable fusion of knowledge, creativity, and collaboration. It served not only as a platform to celebrate science but also to nurture team spirit and curiosity, leaving everyone inspired and motivated.
