NATIONAL SAFETY DAY CELEBRATION

National Safety Day, observed every year on March 4, was celebrated at Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal, on March 7, 2025, with the aim of spreading awareness on safety practices in everyday life—from workplace safety to road precautions and personal well-being. Organized by the NSS unit, the event featured an engaging mix of speeches, poster displays, a PowerPoint session, and a quiz, making it both informative and interactive for participants.

The program began with Riya as the anchor, who carried the event forward with clarity and enthusiasm. Amrutha delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the relevance of safety in all aspects of life and the importance of being prepared for emergencies. Unnimaya, the Union Chairman, delivered the inaugural address, underlining the critical role each individual plays in promoting safety within the community.

This was followed by a powerful speech by Ashna, who spoke about practical safety measures and the importance of cultivating a safety-first mindset in our daily routines. Her message was a call to action for everyone to become more responsible and vigilant.

A visually compelling poster presentation by Kripa creatively highlighted key safety messages, capturing attention through thoughtful design and content. Aswathy then presented an insightful PowerPoint session, focusing on workplace hazards, emergency response strategies, and safety protocols.

To wrap up the interactive segment, Joysi conducted a lively quiz competition that tested participants' knowledge of safety practices. The enthusiastic response from students made it a highlight of the day, turning learning into an engaging experience.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Anamika, who expressed gratitude to all speakers, participants, and organizers. She appreciated the collective effort in making the celebration meaningful and effective in promoting a culture of awareness and caution.

The National Safety Day celebration at Sabarigiri College of Education served as a powerful reminder of the value of being informed and prepared. It inspired everyone to take safety seriously—not just as a rule, but as a way of life.
