HEALTH EDUCATION CLASS

On October 7th, our college hosted a comprehensive health education class, organized by the founder chairman of Sabarigiri Institutions, Dr. V K Jayakumar. The program was held in the general hall, and all teachers, staff, the principal, and first-year students were in attendance.


The session commenced at 2:00 PM, and Dr. V K Jayakumar delivered an informative and engaging lecture on various aspects of human health. He began by explaining the functions of different body organs and their interconnections, providing a thorough understanding of human anatomy.


The discussion then shifted to the importance of exercise in maintaining overall health, with Dr. V K Jaikumar demonstrating some basic exercises suitable for beginners. He emphasized the need for regular physical activity to maintain a healthy lifestyle.


Dr. V K Jayakumar also stressed the significance of hygiene in daily life, highlighting its impact on both physical and mental well-being. He then addressed various health problems, discussing their causes, symptoms, and prevention strategies.


A key aspect of the lecture was the importance of a balanced diet in maintaining good health. Dr. V K Jayakumar explained how a wrong diet can adversely affect the body, leading to various health issues. He also provided valuable insights into managing diet to prevent diseases.


The session took a more personal turn when Dr. V K Jayakumar shared his experiences as a doctor, offering unique perspectives on health and wellness. He also delved into the details of certain diseases, including diabetes, heart diseases, and specific types of cancer, providing a comprehensive understanding of these conditions.


The program concluded at 3:45 PM, with Arathi providing feedback on the session. The principal, Dr. Roy G, expressed his gratitude to Dr. V K Jayakumar for sharing his expertise and enlightening the students on the importance of health and wellness.
