PLANNING
Our principal Dr Roy G, organized a small session for all the teacher trainees who are going for School Induction Programme from 21-10-2024 to 25-10-2024. It was conducted in the general hall in the afternoon session. He selected a leader for each school. He handed over the attendance register and request letter to the leader. He instructed the students to reach the first day of the school a bit more early. He also asked the teacher trainees not to leave the school early. He asked the students to wear modest dress, use polite words and reduce the use of mobile phones in the campus. He wished everyone goodluck.
MY EXPECTATIONS
Before attending the five-day school induction program, I have several expectations. Firstly, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the school's culture, values, and environment. I expect to learn about the school's policies, procedures, and rules, as well as the roles and responsibilities of teachers and staff. I also expect to observe and participate in classroom teaching and learning experiences, which will help me develop my teaching skills and confidence. Additionally, I hope to meet and interact with experienced teachers, mentors, and peers, who can offer guidance, support, and valuable insights into the teaching profession. Furthermore, I expect to familiarize myself with the school's curriculum, assessment methods, and resources, which will enable me to plan and deliver effective lessons. I also hope to learn about the school's extracurricular activities, community engagement, and support services, which will broaden my understanding of the school's holistic approach to education. Overall, I expect the school induction program to provide me with a comprehensive and immersive experience that prepares me for my future role as a teacher and enables me to make a positive impact on my students' learning journeys.
