KOLLAM DISTRICT KALOLSAVAM - November 28, 2025 As part of 64th Kollam Revenue District Kalolsavam ,we the NSS group of our college has provided refreshment to the participants and the audience at the stage 11 in Sabarigiri HSS hall and Sabarigiri B.Ed main hall.

The Final General Reflection session was held on November 20, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the General Hall. The programme provided an opportunity for teacher trainees to share their overall experiences and learning gained during the teaching practice period. The session began with Prathibha from Sabarigiri School, who spoke about her school experience and the lessons she learned during her practice. Ammu Lekshmi from Edamulackal School then shared her reflections, particularly focusing on how she managed students’ behavioural issues and the insights she gained from those situations. Akshaya from Karukone School also presented her experiences, highlighting memorable moments from her time at the school. Many trainees spoke about the support they received from teachers and headmasters, as well as the emotional connection they developed with students. As part of the B.Ed. curriculum in Art Education, a special session on song composition and poetry writing was conducted on November 21, 2025 by the well-known poet and writer K. Bhuvanendran Mangalapuram. The session focused on guiding student teachers to create songs that could be used to teach subject content in an engaging manner. It was a unique and enriching experience for everyone. During the activity, student teachers were grouped according to their optional subjects and encouraged to compose songs based on topics related to their areas of study. The Natural Science group prepared and presented a Malayalam song on the topic of photosynthesis, which we titled “Illakaliley Mayajalam.” Students from other departments also created poems connected to their respective subjects and shared them with the class. On 1 November 2025, Sabarigiri College of Education, Anchal organized a General Reflection Session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the presence of Principal Roy Sir and the faculty members. The session began with the Principal interacting with the students and enquiring about their well-being. Following this, students from different schools shared their experiences from the teaching practice period, including classroom observations, school activities, and the difficulties they encountered. Among the participants were Aravind and Anamika from Vayala School, Riya from West School, Devika from Karavaloor School, Gopika from Karukone School, Keerthi from Puthayam School, Haseena from St. Goretti, Punalur, Akshara and Arya from Poredom School, Anakha from Yeroor School, Kripa from Edamulakal Jawahar School, and Alaka from Ayoor Jawahar School.
