SPORTS DAY 2025-26

The much-awaited Annual Sports Day at Sabarigiri College of Education was held on 19th July 2025, bringing together the spirit of teamwork, competition, and athletic excellence. Students assembled on the college ground with high energy and enthusiasm, ready to take part in a day filled with sporting excitement.

The event commenced with the sports oath, led by me in my role as the Sports Secretary of the college. This was followed by the official inauguration of the Sports Meet by our respected Principal, Dr. Roy G, who encouraged all participants with an inspiring address.

A wide range of events was organized, including 100m, 200m, 400m relay races, shot put, and the cricket ball throw. Each event saw enthusiastic participation from students, reflecting their sportsmanship and dedication.

The smooth coordination of the day was ensured by the diligent efforts of several committees. The organizing committee, technical committee, program committee, award committee, result committee, announcement committee, and refreshment committee all worked seamlessly to make the event a grand success. Every member contributed sincerely to their responsibilities, making the day run efficiently.

By afternoon, all the events were completed, and the day concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, recognizing the efforts and achievements of the participants.

It was a proud moment for the Natural Science Department, as both Anuroop and I were declared the overall champions in the men's and women's categories, respectively.
