WOMENS DAY CELEBRATION

On March 10, 2025, the NSS unit of Sabarigiri College of Education organized a heartfelt celebration to mark International Women’s Day. The event beautifully honored the strength and resilience of women, especially focusing on the students who are also mothers, managing both their studies and family life. These women were appreciated with special gifts as a token of respect for their determination and courage—a moment that touched everyone deeply.

The program was anchored by Revathy, whose confident and warm presence kept the event engaging from start to finish. Teachers shared stories of inspiring women from their own lives, filling the atmosphere with emotion, pride, and gratitude. The event embraced both creativity and joy, reflecting the spirit of Women’s Day.

A digital poster-making competition brought out the artistic side of students, with Silla winning first place for her creative entry. Thoufeeka led a thoughtful storytelling circle that sparked meaningful discussions, while a quiz and puzzle session added fun and excitement to the day. A captivating dance performance by Reeba was a delightful highlight, lighting up the stage with energy and enthusiasm.

Interactive games kept the audience engaged, and a video presentation added depth to the celebration, highlighting women’s contributions and challenges. In addition to students, teachers and non-teaching staff were also recognized and thanked for their commitment to the college's growth and wellbeing.

This Women’s Day celebration was not just an event—it was a powerful reminder of the need to recognize, support, and uplift the women in our lives. With a perfect blend of emotion, creativity, and inspiration, the day ended on a memorable note, leaving everyone with hearts full of appreciation and pride.
