NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION
On January 13, we observed National Youth Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of the illustrious Swami Vivekananda. Although the actual date falls on January 12, the celebration was held on the 13th due to the preceding holiday.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Unnimaya, setting the tone for the festivities. Vinitha expertly anchored the program, ensuring a seamless transition between each segment.
Anakha took the stage to elucidate the significance of National Youth Day, highlighting Swami Vivekananda's profound impact on Indian philosophy and youth empowerment. Her insightful presentation served as a fitting tribute to the legendary thinker.
The creative talents of the students were showcased through a poster presentation by Anupama and a PowerPoint presentation by Thoufeeka. Both presentations effectively conveyed the themes of youth development and national progress.
Revathy delivered an informative talk on various youth-related schemes, emphasizing the government's initiatives to empower the younger generation.
A quiz competition, masterfully conducted by Shamnad, added an exciting dimension to the event. Four departments participated, with two students representing each department. After a fierce competition, the Natural Science department emerged victorious, while the Mathematics department secured the runner-up position.
Prathibha Miss and Shamla Miss graciously distributed prizes to the winners, acknowledging their achievements. Prathibha Miss also addressed the gathering, inspiring the students to embody Swami Vivekananda's ideals and strive for excellence.
