VIMUKTHI - WALL PAINTING CAMPAIGN


Sabarigiri College of Teacher Education was abuzz with excitement as two of its talented students, Shifana and Soorya, participated in a recent wall painting campaign at the Excise Range Office in Kollam. This initiative brought together emerging artists from various colleges, providing a unique opportunity for our students to demonstrate their artistic prowess and creative flair.


Shifana and Soorya proved to be exceptional representatives of our institution, showcasing remarkable skill, passion, and dedication to their craft. Their outstanding artwork reflected their distinctive perspectives, styles, and interpretations of the theme, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed their creations.


Through this experience, our students gained invaluable exposure to the artistic community, recognition for their talents, and a deeper understanding of their craft. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Shifana and Soorya for their remarkable efforts, creativity, and commitment to excellence.


This experience has not only enhanced their confidence but also inspired them to continue refining their skills and pursuing their passion for art. We eagerly anticipate witnessing the growth of their artistic talents and celebrating their future achievements, which will undoubtedly bring pride to our institution.

WEEKEND REFLECTION: WEEK 4 (10.08.2025)

The Natural Science Department of Sabarigiri College of Education conducted the weekly reflection for the first phase of teaching practice on Sunday, 10th August 2025. The meeting was held online via Google Meet from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. The session began with representatives from each school presenting their weekly reflections. Aparna first shared her own and my reflections from Karavaloor School, followed by Akshaya from Karukone School, who spoke positively about her week’s experiences. Then arathi presented her classroom experiences for the week. This was followed by Muhsina and Nuju from St. Goretti’s School, who discussed the challenges they faced due to recent changes in their assigned classes. Arya and Bhavana from Poredom School shared their reflections next, and Ameena from Vayala School concluded the presentations by sharing reflections for herself and Anuroop. TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 7: 15.09.2025 (MONDAY) TO 19.09.2025 (FRIDAY)                                                           REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE MONDAY - 15.09.2025 I reached the school by around 9:10 AM. After signing the register, I went for my disciplinary duties. Once the bell rang, I proceeded to the staff room for the teachers’ prayer. Following the school prayer, I returned to our assigned classroom. Today, there were no teaching or substitution hours for me since it was the school’s parents’ meeting. All the parents of the students had gathered, and the entire day was devoted to that. In the afternoon, we served the mid-day meal to the students.
