TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

September 5th marked a special day in our college's calendar, as we celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The program commenced at 10:00 AM, beginning with the college prayer, which set a solemn tone for the proceedings.
Our senior, Shalu, delivered a warm welcome speech, acknowledging the significance of the occasion and expressing gratitude to our teachers. The program was formally inaugurated by our principal, Dr. Roy G, who emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping the minds of future generations.
Aparna from the English department shared insightful thoughts on the significance of Teachers' Day, highlighting the selfless contributions of educators in our lives. This was followed by a sharing session, where all the teachers reflected on their valuable experiences, offering words of wisdom and inspiration to the students.
Bhavyasena, a first-year student, eloquently expressed the importance of Teachers' Day, demonstrating a deep understanding of the occasion. The program also featured a melodious group song performance by Anjida and her team, which added a touch of sweetness to the celebration.
A video presentation by our super seniors was another highlight of the program, showcasing their creativity and appreciation for their teachers. Abdul Latheef conducted an engaging Quiz session, which sparked interesting discussions and interactions among the students and teachers.
GopiKrishna delivered an informative presentation on the life journey of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers' Day. This presentation served as a poignant reminder of the values and principles that Dr. Radhakrishnan embodied, inspiring us to emulate his example.
As a token of appreciation, the teachers and Principal were presented with gifts. The first-year students, Aiswarya and Arathi, enthralled the audience with a captivating dance performance, which added a vibrant touch to the celebration.
One of the most enjoyable moments of the program was the entertainment game, "Tongue Twister," conducted by the first-year students. This interactive game had everyone in stitches, with both teachers and students participating with great enthusiasm.
The program concluded with the national anthem, marking a fitting end to a memorable celebration. The Teachers' Day event was a heartfelt tribute to our educators, acknowledging their tireless efforts and dedication to shaping our minds and futures.
